What Is Hydrotherapy?

• Hydrotherapy has been used for thousands of years. Putting together three of nature's most powerful relieving agents: heat, water, and air, hydrotherapy invigorates and gently massages the body while easing away aches and pains.
• Although there are several forms of hydrotherapy, the focus is the therapeutic benefits that can be determined by hydro massage and hydrothermal therapy through the use of home spas.
• Three basic factor compromise this aquatic therapy: heat, buoyancy, and massage.

1. Immersion in hot waters raises the body temperature and causes the blood vessels to dilate, resulting in increased circulation.
2. The buoyancy of the watr reduces body weight by approximately 85-90%, relieving pressure on joints and muscles, while creating the relaxing sensation of floating in space.
3. The massaging action of the spa is created by sending a mixture of water air through hot tub jet nozzles. This energized warm water stream relaxes tight muscles and stimulates the release of endorphins, the body's natural pain killers.

• Reflective Foil Insulation-- This barrier creates a thermo-pane window effect which creates a "trapped air space" to act as an insulating barrier from the outside elements. To further enhance our tubs' efficiency, this air space also captures the heat which is generated from the pumps and the spa equipment.

• 24 Hour Circulation Pump-- Available on all Series II models, this 1/15 HP pump filters, ozonates and continually moves water through the spa's heater yet only requires energy equivalent to that of a 100-watt light bulb.
• Topside Control Center
• Self Draining Flange-- A standard feature on all spas that Spa Crest produces, the self-draining flange is a vast improvement over the more common top-rail supports so widely used by other manufacturers. The Spa Crest flanges diverts splashed water away from the spa eliminating water that inevitably collects on the top-rail supports on other manufacturers' models
